George Johnson ("GEO") is a pro se Appellant singer, songwriter, sound recording copyright creator, producer, and independent record label owner of Geo Music who has a significant interest in this proceeding. GEO created and owns the copyright in master sound recordings on Apple Music, Youtube, Pandora, et al. GEO is also a member of SoundExchange as an artist and sound recording copyright owner and receives royalties in both capacities. GEO was also a full participant in Web IV & VI, SDARS III, Phonorecords III & IV as well as appeals SoundExchange v. Copyright Royalty Board and Johnson v. Copyright Royalty Board. GEO was previously declared an expert witness in sound recording and songwriting by the CRB. The CRB also ruled in SDARS III that GEO was "subject to" the compulsory license and therefore had a significant interest in the proceeding. https://app.crb.gov/document/download/3715
