Word Collections, Inc. is a global publishing administrator that represents a large and growing catalog of music and spoken word comedic works embodied in sound recordings. At present, Word Collections controls and administers over 46,000 copyrights. On behalf of its affiliated songwriters, composers, music publishers, comedians, and literary work authors, Word Collections, among other things, collects and distributes Section 115 streaming mechanical royalties administered by The Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC). In addition, Word Collections is a member of the MLC (Publisher Account No. P180M1). Accordingly, as a party involved in the collection and distribution of Section 115 mechanical royalties, and also a party that represents the rights and interests of copyright owners in and to Section 115 mechanical royalties, Word Collections has a significant interest in the subject matter of this proceeding. Additionally, Word Collections was a full participant in Web VI.
